This the the week by oldest babe is getting married. I really don't feel that it's possible. Seems like just yesterday he was a toddler.. now he is going to be a Husband and a Daddy. I AM GOING TO BE A NANA. WOW.... amazing. Where has the time gone?? I can remember wanting to be an adult with a family of my own. 20+ years.... it was gone like a blink of an eye.... I am excited and happy about all that is happening. It's just all so amazing. I wish my Mom was here. She would be so happy for Ian. I am sure she is in Heaven and watching. I just wish she was here.
I am hoping (& and praying) I will be a Mother-in-Law that is well loved and understood. I hope I am not to obsessive. I hope not to build any bridges and then burn them down. I am hoping to build bridges of love and understanding, and strengthen them with support and understanding. I am hoping to have a daughter-in-law as a daughter. I am praying for an extended family thru her family. I am hoping for a new friend in the form of her Mom. Am I asking too much? thinking too much??
My sister is flying in tomorrow. I can't wait. She only visits once a year. She was planning on skipping this year... but she wouldn't miss my kids wedding for anything. I am excited she will be here for 2 weeks... this is going to be a great week.... :)
